Brief: To design materials for the RIBA Annual Conference ‘Change in the city’. These included a poster, and a programme of events and animation to be used at the conference. My design utilises a variety of three-dimensional architectural forms which form an abstract cityscape – a chaotic but positive explosion of change.
The programme contains a stripped down overview of talks, speakers and an easy-to-access schedule visible after the first unfold. It is pocket size for ease of use. The animation is designed to be played on loop. Here I was able to take advantage of the medium to push my concept further, adding energy into the scene and engaging viewers to a greater level with the idea of change as motion.

The primary poster design.

The poster for both portrait and landscape format.

The front of the programme when folded.

The programme unfolded. In blue: list of speakers and bios. On right: schedule, available on demand (first unfold) for quick access.

The programme unfolded. This side details each talk stating name, time, speakers and providing a description.

The animation created for use throughout the conference, furthering the apparent concept of ‘change’ via progressive motion.
